Anne Brannick
Anne Brannick is an experienced, fully accredited, Parent and Relationship Mentor with the governing body, Irish Association of Relationship Mentors. She is committed to supporting you to improving your relationships and communication with others by supporting you to become more consciously aware of your relationship and communication with yourself.
‘I came to train in my profession through my own struggles as a parent. I found myself reacting instead of responding. I knew the answer lay with me and not my child. By chance I came across Tony Humphrey’s book, ‘Myself My Partner’. I would refer to it as, ‘My Partner, Myself’, and therein lay my dilemma.
I had been raised to put myself last and everybody else first, as was often traditional for girls, in homes and schools, when I grew up. Thinking of my own needs was somehow not on my radar. I only, thought of others. I took up training, with Dr Tony Humphreys, in Interpersonal Communication and Parent Mentoring. I found the approach life changing and so compassionate and supportive of parents and individuals that I continued in my training. I became conscious of the most important relationship of all,’the one with my Self.’ I am my partner. I started to understand that,’All behaviour is a communication’, and to listen and seek to understand rather than blaming others or shaming myself.
Life became lighter, more enjoyable. I was less tense, more engaged and able to hold my boundary without threatening another. My parenting became relaxed making space for each other to be ourselves. As I continued on with my studies as a, ‘Relationship Mentor’ I started presenting courses and workshops in the community and schools from 2008 and have continued on in private practice as a professional parent and relationship mentor because of the many benefits and inner growth to me and my clients.

However Dr Tony Humphreys through his life long experience of clinical practice, has created the Co-creational approach of Relationship Mentoring.
